Students presenting posters, when registering, can sign themselves to a 2 minutes – 2 slides talk to promote their poster to the Thermo audience. They will participate to a challenge kindly sponsored by GeoSep, for the best presentation for each poster session.
The lightning talks will be held at the GeoSep corner, a dedicated area in the poster room before each session. The prizes will be assigned by the convenors of the related session.
Rules of the competition
Two static PowerPoint slides are permitted. No slide transitions, animations or 'movement' of any description are allowed.
No additional electronic media (e.g. sound and video files).
No additional props (e.g. costumes, musical instruments, laboratory equipment).
Presentations are considered to have commenced when a presenter starts their presentation through either movement or speech.
The decision of the adjudicating panel is final.
